We are just getting the year off to a good (I hope) start. We are getting the groundrules established and learning some general class procedures and policies. The first topics of the course deal with general skills that will be of use all year long.

- separation of the components of a mixture
- Physical and chemical changes
We had a Unit 2 test (heat capacity, density and data) on Oct 7. The next test is on matter and will likely be on or around Oct 20 or so.
