About ten years ago I used to get a catalog fro the MIT Museum store. one day I noticed that they were selling slide rules. Now I had seen them and I think had had a lecture on them in high school, but really grew up using calculators in school. I decided to buy a couple and play around with them. At about this time it was becoming easier to find information on the web so I started finding sites related to slide rules. Once I discovered ebay I started adding to my collection and have been doing so ever since. As of the summer of 2007 my collection has 825 items in it, ranging from cheap plastic ones with a dollar to some very old and exotic ones worth many hundreds of dollars.

I am always interested in buying/selling/trading slide rules. Feel free to email me for info or pics of any of these items.

My prized possession is a Curta. Among my other favorites are:

a flying fish model 1017 chemical slide rule

a hemmi 257 chemical engineer's slide rulewhich looks like this on the other side

a blundell harling mark v pilot balloon slide rule

a nestler 330 chemical slide rule

I attend meetings with fellow collectors, and look to add to my collection whenever I can.
